My clinical passion is psychological testing. I work with children through adults, ages 6 and up, who need testing for a variety of reasons including how best to understand intellectual, cognitive, academic, developmental, and psycho-social factors impacting learning. This testing can assist in correctly diagnosing learning differences, language-based challenges, executive functioning, and ADHD. I am certified in the ADOS-2, which is The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, to appropriately diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have several diverse areas of specialties in assessment including Bariatric Surgery evaluations and Adoption Evaluations. These evaluations are key aspects of the surgery and adoption process. I can work closely and collaborate with your team to assist you best. My goal is to provide individuals and their families with a clear diagnostic picture and recommendations, such as for accommodations or schooling, to help them take the next steps achieve success!
I have experience in working within several university and hospital settings, including Ridgeview Institute, The Anxiety and Stress Management Institute, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Georgia State University Counseling Center, and Atlanta Medical Center. I also worked as an intern in testing and assessment at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital and at The Emory/Grady Infectious Disease Pediatric Program. I have enjoyed the role of teacher. I had the opportunity to be an Assistant teacher at Georgia State University and an adjunct professor at Argosy University in Atlanta. I particularly enjoy teaching about psychological assessment.
